Ibi Idris - Quran Central

Ibi Idris is a Qari (reciter) of the Holy Quran, known for his beautiful and inspiring recitations. Born and raised in England, he memorized the Qur’an by the age of 12 and later refined his mastery through formal Islamic education after a period of spiritual rediscovery. He is internationally celebrated for his expressive and sincerely delivered recitations that resonate deeply with audiences worldwide.

Ibi Idris is the founder of the Ibi Idris Academy, an educational platform that focuses on Quranic memorization and engagement. The academy provides personalized learning experiences and aims to make Quranic memorization accessible and spiritually enriching. Its mission is to deepen people’s connection with the Quran and to inspire a holistic approach to both spiritual and worldly fulfillment.

He maintains a strong online presence with a YouTube channel and Instagram profile where he regularly shares his recitations, Tajweed tips, reflections, and teachings. His work has gained attention through annual “New Tilawat” releases, emotionally resonant performances, and participation in public events and mosque tours, including recent appearances in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada.

Ibi Idris’s recitations often feature heartfelt delivery and clear articulation, inspiring individuals who are leading Taraweeh prayers or engaging in personal spiritual growth. Through his academy, media outreach, and live events, he continues to bridge traditional Quranic recitation with modern digital engagement.

He is also known by his full name, Ibrahim Idris. His contributions continue to be recognized as part of a broader revival of Quranic appreciation, particularly among younger generations. His mission aligns with the broader legacy of Prophet Idris (Enoch), a revered figure in Islamic tradition known for wisdom, knowledge, and early scriptural teachings.
